تصحیح خودکار rpc های تصاویر ماهواره‌ای irs-p5 توسط مدل‌های رقومی ارتفاعی

یکی از راهکارهای اساسی در تولید و به‌روزرسانی داده­های مکانی از جمله مدل­های رقومی ارتفاعی (DEM) استفاده از تصاویر پوششی ماهواره‌ای است. برای این منظور، معمولاً از ضرایب چندجمله‌ای‌های کسری (RPC ها) که به‌عنوان یک فراداده‌ی اصلی در کنار تصاویر ماهواره‌ای قرار دارند استفاده می‌شود. با این ‌وجود، استفاده از این ضرایب به دلیل یکسری خطاهای سامانمند که در جمع‌آوری آن‌ها وجود دارد منجر به تولید DEM خطادار از منطقه می‌شوند. از این‌رو در این تحقیق روشی ارائه می‌شود تا با رفع خودکار خطای RPC ها در فضای زمین دستیابی به DEM دقیق را مقدور سازد. در این روش از طریق تناظریابی 2.5 بعدی بین DEM حاصل از زوج تصاویر ماهواره­ای IRS-P5 و DEM 10 متری سازمان نقشه‌برداری کشور، خطای RPC ها بر روی DEM حاصل کاهش داده می‌شود. نتایج تجربی این تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که از طریق DEM های 10 متری سازمان نقشه­برداری کشور و زوج تصاویر ماهواره­ای IRS-P5 می­توان به دقت حدود یک پیکسل یا بهتر در تولید و به‌روزرسانی DEM رسید.
