برآورد زیست توده جنگل با استفاده از تصاویرماهواره‌ای SAR و اپتیک

زیست توده جنگل‌ها و تخمین مقدار آن نقش بسزایی در تغییرات آب و هوا دارد. بدلیل محدودیت و زمانبر بودن روش‌های زمینی در تخمین زیست توده، روش‌های سنجش از دور جایگزین موثری برای روش‌های زمینی می باشد. در این تحقیق به منظور بهبود دقت برآورد میزان زیست توده جنگل نسبت به پژوهش‌های پیشین، از تصویر اپتیک AVNIR-2 و تصویر راداری PALSAR ماهواره‌ی ALOS و همچنین از داده‌های زمینی دانشکده کشاورزی دانشگاه تهران مربوط به منطقه‌ی شمالی خیرودکنار استفاده شده است. مراحل انجام این پژوهش را می‌توان در سه مرحله بیان کرد:ا 1- استخراج ویژگی‌ها از تصاویر، 2 – انتخاب ویژگی به کمک الگوریتم ژنتیک، 3 - برآورد زیست توده با شبکه عصبی و آنالیز رگرسیون از ویژگی های انتخابی می باشد. ارزیابی نتایج حاصل از اعمال شبکه عصبی و آنالیز رگرسیون بر روی متغیرهای انتخاب شده توسط الگوریتم ژنتیک، بیانگر دقت بالای ۷۰ درصد توسط شبکه عصبی و دقت حدود 15 درصد توسط آنالیز رگرسیون در تخمین مقدار زیست توده است. به همین خاطر استفاده از شبکه عصبی به نحوی که در این تحقیق استفاده شده، برای جنگل‌های شمالی و با ساختار پیچیده پیشنهاد می‌گردد.
