Agricultural land partitioning as a pivotal tool in sustainable land resource management plays a crucial role in enhancing agricultural productivity and efficiency. Given the constraints of water and soil resources and the escalating demand for agricultural products, the necessity for developing novel and efficient methodologies for land partitioning is more pronounced than ever. This research investigates a hybrid approach, integrating the genetic algorithm with existing partitioning algorithms, to optimize agricultural land partitioning in the Kokdeh region of Amol County. The objective of this study is to identify an optimal solution for dividing agricultural land into parcels of suitable size and favorable geometry, considering multiple criteria such as crop patern, irrigation type, and geometric limitations. The results obtained from implementing this methodology demonstrate that the generated parcels possess dimensions closely aligned with standard dimensions and comply with existing regulations. Furthermore, this method outperforms traditional and existing methods in terms of accuracy, processing time, and parcel geometry. This research underscores the potential of employing intelligent algorithms like the genetic algorithm in conjunction with existing partitioning algorithms as a powerful tool for optimizing agricultural land partitioning.
